How God sees You

Sometimes we give too much credence to the thoughts, feelings, and opinions of others about ourselves. Never do that. Gods thoughts are the only ones that matter. Began to look at yourself through the eyes of God. It takes so much energy to live your life through the judgement of another human. It's so ironic that we do that because all humans have flaws. So for me to base my life upon what someone else thinks of me means that I have subjected myself to their expectancy level, be it too high or too low. Instead, focus on looking at yourself through the eyes of God. Men are mere humans, not gods. Only God knows everything about you and your destiny. The Bible tells us to acknowledge GOD, (not man), in all of our ways and he will direct our paths. This is not to downplay sound advice or wisdom by any means. However, we must learn to cipher through what is good advice for you and what is not. What works for one individual may not work for you. One persons daily routine may not be the same routine that works for you. I am learning to look at myself through God's eyes because man's expectations can sometimes be impossible or even unattainable. I have also learned that I am my own worst critic. I'm harder on myself than others are on me. That takes a lot of energy as well. I am not God. Neither do I aspire to be. I want to be an instrument used by God and that is all. I may not be where I want to be in life at this moment, and I may not be where other people think I should be. But I believe I am right where God needs me to be at this point in my life and that is all that matters. This is what I resolve on this morning.
